Sorry I can't remember exactly what I did. But the file, I sent, states 
that it was successful in raw-ip-mode. (point-to-point-device)
Yesterday (sport) and tonight (visiting a talk about linux and IPv6) 
I'll be busy.
Because I still own the device I will test it again maybe tomorrow evening.
I will test it straight forward, while Modemmanager is in debug-mode 
(plus the nm logfiles.
If that doesn't work, I will look, what fails and set some things 
manually if needed. (raw-ip, ip-adress, ip-route)

Normally I use the iproute2 tools.

The report will follow.
