Did the cdc-wdm port go away from the system while you were testing it?
I'm seeing this in the proxy:

-Warning ** Error reading from istream: Error reading from file
descriptor: Input/output error

Which would indicate that the proxy process suddenly cannot talk to the
cdc-wdm any more.
