Taking data bearer technology string

Hi! I'm using libqmi by looking to qmicli.c and qmicli-wds.c code. I want
to take the result of
qmi_wds_data_bearer_technology_get_string (last), last)

(which is printed out on the console by using gprint from qmmicli-wds.c) to
my main but I'm not being able at all, any suggestion?
