Do the LTE modems have a router advertisement daemon and DHCP/DHCPv6 servers running?

Thanks. So I guess that the firmware(OpenEmbedded based Linux in case of
DWM-222) running on the LTE modem is also using the QMI to communicate with
the baseband processor and gets the v4 and v6 gateway addresses in order to
configure its ethernet-like interfaces and services like DHCP?
