Hi Pat!

I couldn't actually find a contact address for the Libre Graphics
Meeting in Leipzig, but you seemed to be generally involved so I
thought to bug you :-)

You might know about our work with Commons Machinery over the past
half year in increasing support for works metadata in programs such as
Inkscape and GIMP. One of our team members, Artem Popov, recently
released a proof-of-concept implementation of RDF metadata support in
Gimp that retains metadata through all operations of working with an
image: cutting, copying, pasting, merging layers, etc.

We'll likely submit some proposals for LGM 2014 in relation to our
work, perhaps a BOF on metadata and one or two talks to talk about
what we've encountered (both positive and negative) in our work so
far. But as I was looking over the web site I was wondering if we
could contribute in other ways, for instance by covering some of the
costs you guys have for the organisation or travel.

I've seen the Pledgie campaign, but I'm wondering what other options
there might be to participate as a sponsor?
