Note that if you are not being paid by the conference (reimbursement
for travel costs do not count for this purpose) you are not working,
and at the border say you're visiting for tourism, and you can mention
that you're also really looking forward to a meetup of friends relating
to your hobbies of photographinc streets with unusual house numbering
schemes and of open source graphics :D

Do not say, "I am going to speak at a conference" because, although it
might be true, LGM is not the sort of conference they are concerned
about, and it would be too complicated to explain why. If this makes
you feel bad, buy a ticket to a London musical show (they are
inexpensive and awesome value) or visit some other tourist attraction
while you're in the city :D
