I'll also be there!

Just one thing: 9th to 12th Mai is the Ascension weekend:
One less free day from work for all the people working in places where
this is a public holiday.
On the other side, some (like me) have recurrent family plans on that
weekend (which, then, I will skip for this year...).

Anyway, next year, the first three weeks of May all have public holidays
in many European countries, so it's more about choosing the weekend that
best suits you and has more chances to be compatible with the habits of
the locals in Rennes.
Probably, it just bothers me that you picked the one when I would
already be busy : - )
(If I can make a subliminal suggestion: 2nd to 5th may it will be be
sunny and nicely warm : - )
