Good news everyone!
I have an offer for a venue from Wednesday, May 28. 2025 to Saturday
31.05.2025.
If there are no hard reasons to not have the conference on those dates,
I'd make the it official. I know it's already late, next we need to
get the CFP out and make the event public, I'll keep you updated for
these tasks, also depending on the responses I get from this list.
Over the summer I tried to contact the universities in town, but that
was not fruitful, also I was pretty busy myself, hence there was some
delay caused by me. Recently, I changed the tactics to look for
commercial venues. My company (Strong Type Systems GmbH) will act as
the organizer btw. and it looks like I have the cost for the rent
covered with a sponsorship offer, so from that point of view we are set
up. I'm waiting for other venues to respond as well, before I make a
final decision, but I want to fix it soon. The venue has a capacity for
200 attendees at the presentations and enough options for workshops.
Best, Lasse
