Hey Brendan,
Great to hear from you - hope all good. Thanks for the info - I've been observing them for a while, looks like a very interesting option for unconstituted groups such as LGM - but have also heard words of warning. Fingers crossed they sort it all out cos we need infrastructure like that to support solidarity projects...
Bestest,Lara

  Hey All,
I would recommend taking a very close look at the costs and conditions with OC before choosing them. We have been using them with lurk.org for a while and we are a bit disappointed with the very high fees involved, confusing tax compliance and we are increasingly concerned about the long-term stability of the organization. There have been some strange organizational splits and crypto-finance murmurings from the leadership. If you can be your own "fiscal host" the costs/risks are more reasonable and it does have a convenient signup and UI but I would suggest being very cautious before putting all your eggs in that basket.
  Peace & Love, -Brendan

  Happy New Year!
Do you know https://opencollective.com/collectives? It may help LGM in the long term for fundraising and transparency.

Hello everyone and a happy new year!

I updated the website today. We now have a
  "News" https://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2025/news/ category for
  announcements and an according Atom
  feed https://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2025/feed.xml

The homepage had some updates as well.

I published the travel reimbursement information
  https://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2025/reimbursement/

  There's a sponsorship page
  https://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2025/sponsors/ to kick off the
sponsorship campaign. Feel free to support this!!!

I'm looking into a platform for a donations campaign
  https://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2025/donate/ Currently
https://ulule.com from France is my preference so far, mainly because
it's European and because it looks like a credible business. If you
have different ideas please let me know! Also, I'm considering to offer
swag (shirts, likely bags) as rewards, what do you think? Shirts and
bags would be available at the conference as well, so no big extra
  effort.

I'm excited to inform you that we're likely going to partner with
Chaos-West-TV (https://chaoswest.tv/) for video recordings and live-
streaming of the presentations. Thank you Simon for connecting us!

  That's all for now, cheers,

  Lasse
