In particular, I think that LGM has much better fundraising prospects than most individual projects since (1) it can offer promotional opportunities in a way no self-respecting software project could, (2) events are just naturally more alluring to prospective sponsors, and (3) since it covers so much geographic and topical territory.</div><div><br></div><div>I'm already overbooked for the next few months, but, assuming that we can get this SPI thing hammered out by this year's event, I fully plan to dig in on this.
