I think that it would make more sense to organize a virtual event and discussion around the film itself, inviting people from as many interested communities as possible to participate. Because of our community's small size and male-skewed sex ratio, an LGM-centric event runs the risk of recreating the lone woman scenario highlighted in the trailer, which would be painfully ironic.<div> </div><div>For what it's worth, widely circulating the proposal itself may do more to generate awareness than the actual screening.
