Summary: Cannot move or remove pictures or other objects
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.3.0 RC1
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: iansamit at zoho.com

Overview:
When editing in Writer, it is impossible to remove pictures or other objects.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Start a new document.
2) Insert a picture, video, chart or formula.
3) Select the object.
4) Try to delete it using either the "delete" or "backspace" keys, or by
cutting it via the menus or short-cut keys.

Actual Results:
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:
The object should disappear.

Build Date & Platform:
LibreOffice 3.3.0
OOO330m17 (Build:3)
libreoffice-build 3.3.0.1
OpenSuse 11.3 x86-64 with KDE 4.5

Additional Information:
1) It is also not possible to move an object's anchors, although it is possible
to move its position relative to its anchors.

2) The only way I have found, so far, to remove objects is to change them to
"anchor as character". Then it is possible to select them as text, and either
delete or cut the "text".

3 (speculation) It seems that if Writer treats an object as text, it can remove
it, but if it treats the object as an object, none of the normal ways to remove
it work.
