background for hatch pattern disappears in Calc

With Calc, I created a bar chart and selected hatch pattern for a set of data.
The background color for hatch pattern seemed normal inside chart edit mode.
However, the background vanished after I clicked back to Calc.

Please take a look at the attachments which showed the problem better than my
poor English.
