Summary: Hatching disappears in the legend during pdf export if
no background is defined
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.4.2 release
Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Chart
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: joie.bill at gmail.com

Example of bug
To reproduce this bug:
1) Generate a graphic in Calc with column chart.
2) For one data series: Format data series > Area > Fill Hatching.
3) Repeat step 2 for other data series, but additionally check the "Background
color" option and choose any color.
4) Export to PDF
BUG: The legend of series2 will be correctly displayed, whereas the legend for
Series1 will be an empty square. In other words, it is required that an opaque
background be defined in order for the legend to display the hatching.
WORKAROUND: Just choose a background color identical to the background color of
the graph.
Technical: This bug was produced using LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (build 203),
on Ubuntu 11.04 (64-bit).
Possible related bugs: This bug is similar (but not identical) to 35180, 37247,
34272, 32745.
ATTACHMENTS: Please find in attachment a calc file, and the faulty PDF it
generated.
