--- Comment #2 from Rainer Bielefeld <LibreOffice at bielefeldundbuss.de> 2012-04-03 22:58:33 UTC ---
On My PC Page numbering in source document (with "LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 German
UI/Locale [Build-ID: 281b639-6baa1d3-ef66a77-d866f25-f36d45f] on German WIN7
Home Premium (64bit)) and in PDF is very different, so it's hard to find where
the problem might be.

I find a footnote Number 24 at Text "The confession of Bohemia, or the
Waldenses" what appears in Source document and PDF.

Footnote 25 at text "This idea was advanced by Flaccus Illyricus", in source on
same page together with footnotes 26-28

NOT reproducible with a.m. LibO version, PDF-A1 export showed Footnotes 25-28
as they should look. Same good result printing to FreePDF.

Export and PDF print also worked fine from 3.5.0RC2. So closing WFM.

@Phillip Ross
Thank you for your report – unfortunately important information is missing.
You used a release candidate what still might have had some more Bugs, please
try again with a stable version and feel free to reopen if the bug persists for
you and if you can provide information as requested in the following
explications.

May be hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> will help you to
find out what information will be useful to reproduce your problem? If you
believe that that is really sophisticated please as for Help on a user mailing
list
Please:
- Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is. All
  reports here are about problems.
- Attach a sample document (not only screenshot)
- Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the
problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every
mouse click how to reproduce your problem (due to example in Bug 43431).
That will explain what "Print to PDF" might mean. do you use a PDF printer
  or did you export?
– if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document
  from the scratch
- add information
  -- concerning your PC
-- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
-- concerning your LibO localization (UI language, Locale setting)
–- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
-- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
–- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful
-- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts

Even if you can not provide all demanded information, every little new
information might bring the breakthrough.

May be you can test <https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/> for submitting
bug reports?
