             Bug #: 48436
Summary: Data Label Placement needs absolute coordinates
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Chart
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: jonnjones at fastmail.fm

When enabling data labels on a chart, the labels may overlap into the chart
image area, making the labels difficult to read. It's particularly problematic
when making a pie chart with a 3D Realistic Look, and using percents as labels.

It would be better for the data labels to be freely placed, like text boxes
with position and size x and y coordinates, instead. Really all elements should
be freely customizable like text boxes, in terms of placement, size, and
content. It may interfere and cause problems otherwise. The individual elements
can still be moved as a group when moving a chart.
