Bug #: 48439
Summary: EDITING: Row Height Change Automatically
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.5.2 Release
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Status Whiteboard: BSA
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: rian0201.p at gmail.com
Problem description:
it changes the row height automatically by 0.01" or 0.02" when we are editing a
certain cell.
this has been already since the previous version of Calc. And this occurs when
the file opened comes from MsOffice Excel.
Steps to reproduce:
1. I created a file made by Msoffice excel 2010. it just contains some numbers.
2. Save the file (i have save it as *.xls and open it to Calc
3. After opening the file in Calc.. Check the Row Height of the cells that
contains data.
4. Edit with anything the selected cell.
5. Click or move to the other cell.
6. Check again the Row Height of the edited cell. (sometimes it changes the
height as observed.)
Current behavior:
After editing the cell and clicking to other cell, the edited cell's row height
will increase to 0.01" or 0.02".. i dont know if this is automatic by nature in
LibreOffice, but in excel it doesnt change unless font size is changed.
Expected behavior:
the row height should not change at all unless font size is changed.
Platform (if different from the browser):
Windows 7 32 bit
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko)
Chrome/18.0.1025.151 Safari/535.19
