Running LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 on Windows 7.

Go to
http://www.edge.org/responses/what-is-your-favorite-deep-elegant-or-beautiful-explanation
in Firefox and copy the whole document (Ctrl-A Ctrl-C), then paste it into a
new Writer document. The program hangs.

This is a rather large HTML file, but not overly complicated. MS Word 14.0
processes it on the same hardware in about 20 seconds.
