281b639-6baa1d3-ef66a77-d866f25-f36d45f - GNU/Linux Debian testing (32bit)
English UI" and gedit 3.2.6-1 (Debian package)

I can reproduce it only when another sheet is involved in the formula:

Copied text:
=Sheet1.A2
2
3
4
=suma(A2:A4)

Result in gedit:
=#REF!.A2
2
3
4
=SUM(A2:A4)
