As this is an enhancement request, I'm changing Severity accordingly. 

One could think of the possibility to use the keyboard for manipulating the
Zoom slider in the status bar. But if it's a good idea to change the default
meaning of Ctrl++/- shortcuts, I don't know, UX people might know better.
