             Bug #: 53351
Summary: Scroll bars do not always work
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Mac OS X (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: ralph at cs.cf.ac.uk

On MacOS X (10.7 or 10.8), open a long spreadsheet, with say 3000 rows.

The vertical scrollbar shows a handle to drag, to scroll the document up and
down.
When at or near the top of the document, attempts to drag the handle fail.
When near the bottom of the document, dragging the handle works as expected.
Further experiments show that the problem seems to be a miscalculation of the
position of the click on the scroller, relative to the position of the handle:
clicking above or below the handle can cause incorrect direction of movement of
the document up or down too.

This problem has existed for the last few versions of LibreOffice.
