Problem description: 

Writer crashes when saving into a symlink to a ntfs drive (drive has read write
access)
It works when using the full link

Steps to reproduce:
1. create symlink to ntfs drive  ln -s /media/ddrive/ /d
2. enter symlink in the save dialog box  /d/sdfs/sdfs
3. crashes!!

Current behavior:

Crashing when attempting to save

Expected behavior:

Save and idle

Platform (if different from the browser): 

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1
