Look again ;-) I load source.rtf, save it again and re-load (using master) and
loose some magic symbols - no idea if they are quotes they look like this:

ｫXxx!ｻ xxxx xxx.

Since they are around what looks like speech, I assume these are the quote
marks being mentioned - they're not clearly flagged; so checkout the last
sentence in the document eg.
