Thanks for re-testing; it's encouraging that a chunk of this bug is nailed
already - nice work Miklos.

What would be great would be to file a new bug, that is shorter & easier to
read - with a simple sample document with just a character styles demonstration
in it.

Then we can close this one out & focus more easily. Any chance of that ?
