MathType equation alignment illustration

I am using Writer to produce documents that contain a large number of
equations. To do so I use MathType since this software reduces my production
time. The problem lies in the fact that the newly introduced equation are not
automatically aligned with the text. I have checked the standard setting but I
could not find one that is optimal for all equations. The best general setting
I found is when I position as vertical "centre" to "character". In order to
solve the issue I need to align the equations manually. See attached document
for illustrations.
