I used all previous versions of LO in openSUSE and did not have such problem.
Unfortunately with LibreOffice 3.5.3 some thing like this is available.
The behaviour of the dialogue form form File --> Template --> Template management is strange. I got some error messages and templates are not visible even they
are there.
Also new templates can not be iported using this dialogue form.
