Without a sample document we can't do anything.

By the way, I also suffer from may be similar effects. From time to time with
particular documents with many calculations and charts I see 5 seconds
calculation time, but in the moment when I decide to create a sample document
from the confidential documents the problem vanishes., So there is no doubt
that the problem exists, but without a working test kit it can't be fixed.
