Still reproducible (for LibO 3.3.4/3.4.4) with password protected *.odt,
created with LibO 3.5.0 Beta2, 
or 
LibO 3-5 LOdev 3.5.0beta2+ Build ID: 2650c80-7ef74e0-dee380a
(libreoffice-3-5~2012-01-02_22.09.08...)

But:
FILEOPEN of password protected *.odt, created with LibO 3.5.0 Beta2, works fine
with LibO 3.4.5 RC2 [LibreOffice 3.4.5 · OOO340m1 (Build:502)]
