enlarging simmetrically

Enclosed is a picture showing a text object enlarged simmetrically
horizontally, where you see at the upper picture an enlarged box like
discontinuos line, pitifully it not show mouse pointer too.
The picture under show the frame an enlarged text after release mouse button.
It was made under OO 2.4 and windows 98, pressing Alt while dragging with the
mouse.
