sorry markus, but your answer does not show that you are a "customer focussed"
mind; why making a function worse than what it was? Just because it is easier
to handle for programmers? 

This function is VITAL, the whole revamp of the conditional formatting in LO
3.6 is far from perfect, there is room for improvement. So i kindly ask you to
rethink your opinion and keep this bug open.
