NOT REPRODUCIBLE with LibreOffice 3.5.5.3 (Build ID:
7122e39-92ed229-498d286-15e43b4-d70da21), German langpack installed, on MacOS X
1.6.8 German. For both English and German text, Thesaurus and "Synonyms" work
as expected.

Well, the menu item "Thesaurus" is in the sub-menu "Tools > Language >".

Can you please check if this issue is still reproducible for you with the
current version of LibreOffice, i.e. 3.5.5 (or 3.6 in about two weeks)? Thank
you!

Else we should probably just close this issue.
