             Bug #: 52344
Summary: : scrolling speed too high
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.5.4 release
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Libreoffice
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: uc at flanagan-consulting.com

Problem description:
When the mouse cursor reaches the top or bottom of the visible page LO scrolls
the document in the window. However, the speed of the scroll is too high. It
is very difficult to move only a few lines up or down--the document "jumps" as
much as a page.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Move mouse cursor to top or bottom edge of visible window while dragging a
selection.

2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:
Document scrolls very quickly, too fast to move only a few lines or a
paragraph.

Expected behavior:
Scrolling at a 'controlled' speed so that it can be stopped where desired.

Platform (if different from the browser):
OpenSuse 11.4 (32-bit), KDE.

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0
