Another idea: most reports about this issue come from users with MacOS X
10.7.x. This may be well a mere coincidence, but it is at least possible that
it is easier to trigger this bug on 10.7.x than on 10.6.x ... (I’m on 10.6.8,
and I could never manage to reproduce this bug).
