             Bug #: 52478
Summary: VIEWING: ZOOM SLIDER is unusable in LibreOffice (or
Open Office) "DRAW" (for ALL versions so far).
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.5.4 release
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: ev_design_2005 at yahoo.com

Problem description:

As long as I remember in Open Office and in LibreOffice, when using DRAW, the
Zoom slider at the bottom right of the screen can be used as an Input to
control Zoom.

However its scaling ("Gain") goes insanely large after 100%, making it
unusable.

Steps to reproduce:
1. .... Just use the Zoom Slider to Control Zoom!!
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:

1) Gain of Zoom Slider is non-linear and far too high, after 100% Zoom.

2) Slider is too short to be easily used.

Expected behavior:

1) Gain of Zoom Slider is usable & linear, like a mouse does to the pointer on
the screen of any Operating System.

2) The Zoom slider is made 3+ times longer than it is, with a more bold
"% Zoom number", so this can be used for fine and stable control of Zoom.

Even if it is stepped to 10% Zoom intervals, thats AOK.

Thanks
