             Bug #: 47500
           Summary: : Serial letters
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.5.1 Release
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: hc.stoellinger at aon.at

Problem description:
When writing serial letters with data mixed in from a MySQL-Database (using
either the native MySQL connector on W/Vista or ODBC on Linux-Mint-Lisa) LO
formats ONLY the FIRST letter of a series correctly. With any subsequent
letters I observe a number of "bugs", i.e.
- inserted fields of a database view get omitted
- maybe as a consequence of this, formatting gets "out of sync"(eg. included
pictures don't get positioned in the right place).
This really is a "show stopper" if you imagine a business user who has to
produce serial letters that include data from dozens if not hundreds of
database tuples.
Current behavior: as it stands at the moment, I have to print every single
letter in an attended fashion instead of being able to produce them as a batch.
