                OS: All

This is the toolbar that has unexpected behavior

I'm trying to edit a fairly simple table...
I want it to have super thin grey lines so that I can practice my chinese

I plan to have 4 squares with a slightly darker border around them..

and the lightest grid inside of them that I can possibly get my printer to
print that I can see..

I selected the whole table, and told it to be super narrow and medium grey.

I then started selecting squares and told them to apply the color black to just
the outer borders of my selection by using the pallet in the table properties
under border... these are labeled presets... and now I see that there is a way
to "grey" keeping the other borders the same as they were... but if I recall
correctly, in the past clicking one of these buttons kept the rest of the
borders the same, rather than clearing them...

I lost a lot of borders.. and since libreoffice shows the grid even though it's
not being printed... I actually wasted a whole lot of time thinking that I was
getting the effect that I wanted, while I was essentially just making a grid
that I could have just done with half as many rows and columns
