I confirm it with LO 5.3.2. Personally I think it's a bug and not an
enhancement, because if you use the sitebar, you can customise "Font Colour" as
well as "Highlight Colour".

=> changed description of th bug to be more precise
=> changed to minor bug, because a workaround exists
