I'd just like to reiterate that in this user's opinion, a single fixed font
size for comments would be a maddening UX feature. I would have to stop using
LO for collaboration with my editor if that limitation was introduced. I could
still use LO for other purposes, however.
For me, the main feature I need in the presentation of comments is to be able
to read the text in them; the more of the text I can read without scrolling (or
zooming the whole document) the better.
