Greetings,
I am currently on 5.2.7.2, and the problem still occurrs.  I have my page size
set to 5.5.x8.5, and have tried inserting a footer, and adding a page number. 
The operation fails at page 114.  I am going to use your link to get the most
current LibreOffice, and will let you know how that goes.
