Bug ID: 110999
Summary: Pages with inserted PNGs without background show
slight grey background in the PNG (PDF, Print)
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.3.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: andreas.buch at t-online.de
Description:
Tested with writer.
When i insert a PNG file (on purpose, e.g. a scanned signature) without a
background, a PDF export file shows still a slight grey background. Also,
printings of the .odt file with colour show that grey background.
Even a PNG with a paper white background will produce that grey background.
That makes an signature looking ugly and non professional.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a PNG(e.g. a handwritten signature) without background
2.Insert it in a L.O.writer page
3.export to PDF or print the page in colour mode
Actual Results:
Instead of only seeing the signature alone, you will see the signature with a
grey background in size of the whole PNG
Expected Results:
I want to only see the handwritten signature
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No, i happens on may three different Linux PCs
Additional Info:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/54.0
