Time profiling using Instruments.app on my master debug build shows that :


AquaSalInstance::handleAppDefinedEvent( pEvent );


at line 94 of vclnsapp.mm 

is being called 6125 times when an extension OXT file is drag and dropped onto
a running instance (cf. enclosed screenshot).
