A suggestion to split off logerrit out of the core repo and make it work with
every repo hosted on Gerrit for which it would be used has been made. This
suggestion has been sent to the projects@ mailing list. A link to the this post

Feel free to comment. This suggestion might be the best way to fix this bug.
