If you need grid aligment, it does not really matter if the skew is 0.1 mm or
20 cm. You'll need anyway to open a dialog and enter an on-grid position
manually. For every paste action. Incidentally, whenever you build a diagram
with connectors, you need accurate grid alignment otherwise the connectors will
appear skewed. Hence, this issue is causing a degradation of the user
experience for one significant usage case, drawings of diagrams using
connectors, for which blocks are typically copied and pasted many times.
