I can confirm this for LibO 4.3.6.2 and 5.3.4.2 on Win10 64 Bit, also with a
database document of my own making.
Some other features that do not work either, in the same constellation:
- Save using the menu entry
- go to first, last, next, previous record
- symbol "Edit data" asks whether the changed data should be saved, but nothing
happens, same as Robert stated for "Save"; b u t  the menu item "edit data"
works correctly!

On the other hand, all works fine if you enter a new record instead of changing
an existing one.
