Hi Telesto,

Did you monitor the ram used by LO ?

I do not reproduce the crash with LO 5.4.2.0.0+ under Ubuntu 16-04 x86-64.
I have 8 GB of RAM and LO uses 1,1 GB with the odg and the new Writer document
with pictures.
