A few questions:

What do you mean with "update verified" and "launched again".
Do you know that there are two starts involved? The first for downloading the
update and during the next the update is applied.
Can you check if you have a patch directory in the user profile? In the daily
builds that directory should be in the same level as the program directory.

Did you by chance modify any files of the installation like bootstraprc to
change the location of your user profile?
