            Bug ID: 114383
Summary: Make invisible files invisible on linux
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.3.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: hans.van.buitenen at xs4all.nl

Description:
Files preceded with a dot are not invisible in the file (open, save-as) dialogs
on Linux. This makes finding your files unnecessary hard. This is not how it
should be. Even on Windows this behavior (hiding these files) should not be a
problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. File, Open (On Linux)
2. Check if you see the hidden files
3.

Actual Results:
All files are shown

Expected Results:
Only user files should be visible

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
