I may be being very stupid, but when I go into Java Control Panel it tells me I
have a JRE installed, but when I carry out your instructions, Libre office
tells me I have none, and the location of the JRE Java tells me of does not
appear.  You mention a hidden attribute but I don't know how to access a hidden
file to change its attributes!
