Description:
Replace by regular expressions with `$` does not replace the paragraph end
character. This is an extremely atypical behavior when processing text with
regular expressions.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. ctrl+H
2. by regex `$`
3. fail :(

Actual Results:  
does not replace the paragraph end character

Expected Results:
replace the paragraph end character


Reproducible: Always
