What makes you believe that your problem is this bug? Doesn't your version have
"Paste as - Formatted text (RTF)" option, while 5.1 had it for the same
operation?

To be specific: with Version: 5.4.0.1 (x64)
Build ID: 962a9c4e2f56d1dbdd354b1becda28edd471f4f2
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.19; UI render: default; 
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); Calc: group

and attachment 127786, I can successfully paste text copied from the PDF (Adobe
Acrobat Reader DC) with formatting (the RTF is used by default). That was
impossible with 5.2 and 5.3.0, so I think that this bug is fixed, and your
problem should be discussed in a new issue (please create one with proper
description and steps to reproduce, including test document if required for
reproduction).

Closing as RESOLVED FIXED.
